Megaman X

Megaman X is now free to play at iceway.fun. Mega Man is a classic platformer that first appeared on the NES. It was created by the gaming company Capcom, and is published by the Mega Man producers,Capcom Co., Ltd. Mega Man features the protagonist Mega Man facing off against a different robotic villain each time he plays the game. The original Mega Man series consisted of ten games; however, Capcom has released twenty-six Mega Man games so far. These games are loved by both new and veteran gamers alike. The upcoming Mega Man X game will be an excellent addition to an already stellar series.

The first game in the series was released in 1987 under the name 'Mega Man.' This game introduced fans to the iconic blue hero with a human body and Sigma's human form. Mega Man is armed with the Mega Buster, which can shoot energy balls or can be used as a bomb. He can also slide down hills on his feet and bounce off of walls to reach high places. Each battle presents a new challenge for Mega Man to overcome.

The second main series game features X as the main protagonist. He is an elite Reploid counter-attacking against Sigma's army of deadly Systems Reploids. At the start of this series, X was a regular Reploid named Axle who was forced to become part of an experiment. This led to him becoming infected with a virus and being forcibly transformed into a powerful fighting machine known as 'Mega Man X.' After defeating Sigma, X went back to being an ordinary Reploid after receiving an upgrade via cyberwomb called 'Book of Sigma.'

In addition to these upgrades, X's arsenal was much larger than that of his predecessors. Mega Man X was the first Mega Man game to feature the protagonist fighting an assortment of Reploids instead of just one type of enemy. The main enemies in this series are known as 'Reploids,' which are artificially created humanoid robots with both artificial and natural intelligence. There are several different types of Reploids, such as Tank andwinged reploid soldiers called 'Sigma' and 'Sigma Bots' respectively, along with foot soldiers known as 'Sigma Foots' and 'Sigma Tanks.' All these enemies are hostile towards humans and seek to destroy both Mavericks and their facilities that created them.

Although not all fans agree that Mega Man X is better than Mega Man, it certainly has its merits. The upgraded armor gives X more flexibility in combat, while allowing him to fight more types of enemies- including fellow Reploids infected with a virus and forced to become Mavericks. This also marks the first time that Capcom replaced one primary protagonist with another in their long-running franchise. Either protagonist would make for an interesting spinoff though!
